North River Restoration Junior Grand Slams Results
The North River Restoration Junior Grand Slam kicked off the season at Deerwood Country Club. The Annual St. Patrick's Day Grand Slam was well attended with 133 boys and girls. The kids suffered through the tough cold weather in the morning to turn out a great display of tennis. Seeded players won the majority of the age divisions but we had a few unseeded players prevail in the tournament: Blake Ward boy's 14's, Simeon Shelton boy's 12's and Issam Taweel boy's 18’s. FCTF wants to thank Danny Witt and his staff for running a great event!!! The next three North River Restoration Junior Grand Slams, all held in April are: April 14-16 at Timuquana Country Club, April 21-23 at Palencia and April 28-30 at Florida Yacht Club.
