Jacksonville TennisChallenge’09 Offers
Opportunity to Play with the Pros and Fun for Spectators, Too!
- Event set for March 21, 2009 at Deer Creek Country Club, 6-10 pm
- MaliVai Washington and a “Mystery Pro” to Play Exhibition and in Round Robins
- Ping-Pong, Wii, wine tasting and complimentary massages
MaliVai Washington and a well-known “Mystery Pro” have signed on to play in the Jacksonville TennisChallenge’09 for CHARACTER COUNTS! in Jacksonville.
Players will participate in a round robin event with the celebrity pros, Sheriff John Rutherford and tennis pros from Deer Creek Country Club, Epping Forest Yacht Club, Julington Creek Tennis Center, Southside Tennis Complex and the Jewish Community Alliance.
The event will also feature a fast serve challenge and the chance to take a lesson with MaliVai Washington at the event. The evening will culminate in an exhibition between MaliVai and the “Mystery Pro.”
Players and spectators will also enjoy a “Beat the Pro” ping-pong challenge with Russian Table Tennis Champion Sam Kevlair, complimentary massages by Simply Massage, music, a wine tasting by The Grotto, great food by Shula’s 347, cash bar and much more.
Proceeds benefit CHARACTER COUNTS! in Jacksonville, a non-profit, ethics organization dedicated to teaching the importance of good character to all of Jacksonville, with emphasis on the community’s at-risk youth.
